We were delighted when we discovered RenderCube. We had been searching for a compact chassis for our 4 processor "QuantumStation". The "RenderCube" was nearly perfect but needed a few modifications to fit our needs. RenderCube was quick to make the necessary modifications and get a machine off to us. We were impressed with the design and layout, especially the cooling design which is far superior to conventional rack designs. We use the RenderCube chassis for our 4 processor "QuantumCube" which is a Linux mini-cluster configured for parallel quantum chemical calculations -- it has proved to be very popular with our customers. "When considering server upgrades for our expanding web hosting company, several issues came to the forefront for us, including cost, size, upgradeablility, quality, and flexibility. When we happened upon the 'Cube' as we call it, we were impressed. It is very compact, taking up just a bit more space than four comparable rack units we had been looking at. It was easily upgradeable with stock parts which is so critical in today's world where frequent upgrades are mandatory. Components are readily accessible by it's removeable panels, and the construction is of sturdy aluminum, not flimsy sheet metal that is so common today. Unlike the status quo, the only corner cutting is the cube's slick design (literally), not in it's quality. In short, the Cube is an high performance box designed and built by engineers for professional performance and reliability at the industrial level.

"It took a bit to get it all networked in with our network, but it's up and running. I gave it a little test just to see how much time it was going to save me. I took a flythru of an office area that took over 120 hours, between 2 to 6 computers networked together. It completed the job in 23 hours. That was 3800 frames of animation. When I previously rendered it, an 800mhz PIII took as long as 20+minutes on some of the frames. The longest the RenderCube took was 2 minutes on any frame. Needless to say, we are very pleased. Great job!"
